Hails!
Recently got a couple deliveries, one of which is this Epson large format scanner, the newest addition to the Battleground Victory studio armory. I had been using a standard-sized scanner for smaller art, then outsourcing larger work, but now I finally have 99 percent of scanning operations in-house, and I will direct this valuable tool, like a WEAPON, in the war for Independent creative expression. This completes my desktop publishing system and will be utilized extensively in the coming months as files are made for printers and the Internet digital distribution of my work, also future online Art Auctions and sales of Patty original art. As a sideline, I will be offering pre-press and digital coloring services in late 2009. A new website with an extensive portfolio will cater to this endeavor. The only work I need to outsource now are the oversized paintings, upwards of 18” x 24” to 24” x 36”, which go to a digital imaging shop south of Los Angeles.
I’ll be attending the July ‘08 San Diego Comic-Con as a guest, NOT an exhibitor. I’ll be visiting with some artist pals, but the MAIN reason is to get my table application in early for the 2009 show. This is the monster of all shows and the waiting list grows each year to earn a spot on that floor. I won’t know until early ’09 if it has been approved, so I’ll hope for the best.
The other delivery was a heavy beast and you’ll see it if ya come out and visit at one of the upcoming conventions where Battleground Victory will be exhibiting-- a big convention display 10 ft wide by 8 ft tall with lights, should look great with the new prints and all.
My creative efforts are still scattered over an array of projects, but the puzzle is coming together slowly but surely. Going to be doing at least 2 shows this autumn, will letcha know after all has been solidified.
Stay strong and always TRUE…and thanks for your support! -SEAN
